Fly fearlessly Recent Fear of Flying Success Story:

"As you may remember we did 4 sessions in October (2007) to overcome my fear of flying. I wanted to thank you and inform you about the progress I made. We had 2 flights from Toronto to Johannesburg. One was about 8 hours the other was for 10 hours. I was just a little bit nervous before getting on the plane but I used all the techniques you showed me. During the first flight we again hit turbulence but I was very calm and relaxed. Even my husband was surprised. I wanted to thank you for everything. With the stress of moving to a new country I still use the tapping. It calms me. I want to learn a lot more hypnosis. I wish I had discovered this before moving to Johannesburg. Would have done a lot more sessions with you. Thanks again. Funda"

Examples of common fearful situations and things: open spaces (agoraphobia), closed spaces (claustrophobia), heights, water, flying, animals, insects (bugs, spiders), birds, bees (wasps, hornets), dogs, snakes, stage fright, public speaking, death, the dark, social situations, people, and the unknown.

Most fears are developed from a emotional or traumatic experience usually at an early age but not always. For example, adults can develop fears, such as the fear of driving after having been in a car accident which was a traumatic event.

Treatment of intense fears and phobias can take a relatively short time, compared to other methods. If the fear is repressed from early childhood, hypnotherapy can uncover the root event and neutralize the fear at that time. If the fear stems from recent events, direct suggestions alone can alleviate and/or eliminate symptoms. Furthermore, the state of hypnosis is naturally relaxing and once you learn self-hypnosis, you can re-condition yourself to the stimulus.

Take control of your fears and phobias with hypnosis and hypnotherapy. Free yourself from the limitations imposed by irrational fears and phobias.
